Imua Physical Therapy’s commitment to giving back to the community has been a key component of the practice since it was founded in 2006 by Tiffany Prangnell, PT. Together with our community partners, we have been able to assist both organizations and individuals in need throughout the various communities in which we live and work.

Our primary partnership in the community has been with Basketball Maui.

Basketball Maui is a non-profit organization dedicated to the character and basketball fundamentals development of the young people of Maui through the game of basketball. Their mission is to provide a hope and a future to youth and the opportunity to prepare for success both on and off the court. Basketball Maui strives to accomplish this through: camps, clinics, school assemblies, and community events and college tours. Basketball Maui’s core values are motivated by love, which encourages all athletes, parents, coaches, and community members to become the best they can be. Basketball Maui’s founder is Ben Prangnell. Another Community partner is Assistance Dogs of Hawaii. This amazing organization provides children and adults with disabilities professionally trained dogs that will increase their independence and enhance the quality of their lives. We have helped in training Facility dogs so that they can then graduate the program and be placed to serve & comfort those in need.
