Alayna graduated from Colorado State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport’s Medicine. She continued her education to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, Texas. Alayna has a strong interest in running and sports related injuries, orthopedic manual therapy for treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, and health and wellness promotion. She is passionate about providing hands-on, patient-centered care to help patient’s reach their goals and achieve overall wellness. She is certified in Graston Technique, a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. She also received her certification for the Functional Movement Screen as well as the Level I Selective Functional Movement Assessment. Alayna grew up on Maui and enjoys surfing, hiking, cycling, volleyball and many other outdoor activities. She enjoys many of these activities with her husband, Matt, and their dog Bear.
