Alayna Betsill graduated from Colorado State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport’s Medicine. She continued her education to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, Texas. Alayna has a strong interest in running and sports related injuries, orthopedic manual therapy for treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, and health and wellness promotion. She is passionate about providing hands-on, patient-centered care to help patient’s reach their goals and achieve overall wellness. She has clinical experience in Outpatient Orthopedics using the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) manual therapy based treatment approach and plans to specialize in manual therapy. She received her certification in the Graston Technique this year, a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. Alayna grew up on Maui and enjoys hiking, cycling, volleyball and many other outdoor activities.
